About the festival
Founded in 2003 by organizers Ryan and Evan, Maryland Deathfest has hosted over 900 bands from around the world. It showcases death metal, grindcore, doom, thrash, hardcore, black metal, and experimental acts—new and old—without genre restrictions.
Maryland Deathfest is an all-ages event. Attendees under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Fans needing ADA accommodations can contact mdfinformation@gmail.com. The festival does not issue press or photo passes. Doors and set times, food and drink vendors, box office and wristband details, parking, venue rules, and the festival area map are announced gradually on the official site.
