The 2026 Minnesota National College Fair takes place Monday, October 5 and Tuesday, October 6 at the Minneapolis Convention Center (1301 Second Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN 55403).
Organized with the Minnesota Association for College Admission Counseling (MACAC) and the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), the Minnesota National Fair is held each fall in Minneapolis. It is one of the largest fairs of its kind and annually attracts representatives from more than 250–275 colleges and universities.
The event is free and open to the public. Students and parents are welcome. Workshops typically cover financial aid, application essays, and comparing college options. Some secondary schools arrange transportation; MACAC also runs a Transportation Grant Program to help schools offset bus costs (the 2026 grant application is closed).
All attendees should register students via nacacattend.org and register buses through MACAC. Students are asked to leave backpacks at school or on the bus when possible; bags for college materials are provided at the entrance. Middle and junior high students are asked to attend the last session if possible.
Exhibitor booth reservations and logistics are handled through NACAC (Virginia Falgoust, [email protected]). Local questions: [email protected].
