The Montreal Electric Vehicle Show (MEVS / Salon Véhicule Électrique Montréal) is Canada’s first show dedicated to electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles. The official site states that the MEVS will not take place in 2026 and that the event is taking a break that year.
The most recent 8th edition ran from 2 to 4 May 2025 indoors at Stade IGA (IGA Stadium) in Parc Jarry, Montreal. After earlier editions at Place Bonaventure and four years at the Olympic Stadium, the 2025 show moved because of Olympic Stadium renovations. Presented by Garantie Avantage Plus, in collaboration with NexDrive powered by NAPA and VE Recharge, the indoor venue offered about 70,000 square feet for exhibitors and visitors.
More than 15 car manufacturers attended in 2025, including Chevrolet, Cadillac, Ford, and Audi. Next-edition dates after the 2026 pause have not been announced on the official site.
