Nasjonale Konferanse Om Hjerneslag

Nasjonale konferanse om hjerneslag (the National Conference on Stroke) is Norway's largest conference devoted to stroke, organised by the stroke research community at Oslo University Hospital in the tradition of its founder David Russell. The conference is arranged by The Norwegian Society for Cerebrovascular Research (org. no. 898 164 152 MVA), with Liwlig Conference AS (formerly Gyro Conference AS) as technical organiser.

8th edition — Thursday 15 and Friday 16 February 2024, Oslo Kongressenter, Youngs gate, 0181 Oslo. The programme covered the entire stroke pathway: prevention, pre-hospital handling of the hyperacute phase, diagnostics and acute treatment, work-up, secondary prevention, rehabilitation and coping after stroke. Speakers came from across Norway and the meeting is a key arena for updating and networking in the Norwegian stroke field.

Next edition: the organiser has announced "9. nasjonale konferanse om hjerneslag 2026"; no dates or venue have been published yet (announcements are currently made through the conference's LinkedIn page).
