Nearshoring America

Nearshoring America is a sourcing and business-matchmaking initiative powered by Dallas Market Center (DMC) in Dallas, Texas. It connects export-ready manufacturers and supply-chain service providers from Mexico, Central and South America with U.S. importers, retailers and product buyers, focused on the gift, home furnishings, lighting and fashion accessories sectors.

Edition history

2024 (1st edition) - Nearshoring America Expo, December 9-11, 2024, Dallas Market Center. The first-of-its-kind invitation-only showcase of pre-vetted factories, shelter companies and supply-chain providers from Mexico and other Latin American countries including Brazil and Colombia. The show floor opened Monday, Dec. 9 at 09:00 and ran to 17:00 followed by a welcome reception; Tuesday, Dec. 10 kept the same exhibition hours and added two seminars, including a 14:00 program built around three themes - Launch, Optimize and Sustain; Wednesday, Dec. 11 the show floor closed at 12:00 noon. Admission to the Expo and the seminar schedule was free for wholesale importers, product designers and product category buyers. Each participant presented on the show floor, ready to discuss terms, product development and production.

2026 (2nd edition) - Nearshoring America Matchmaking, January 7-13, 2026, Dallas Market Center. For January 2026 the show moved to one-on-one private meetings between Latin American producers and U.S. importers, held concurrently with the January market weeks for the total home sectors. The matchmaking is complimentary: brands share sourcing needs and production goals through the Matchmaking Interest Form, the DMC Nearshoring America team identifies qualified suppliers that align with those criteria, and meetings take place one-on-one at Dallas Market Center during the 2026 matchmaking sessions. Announced by Cindy Morris, CEO of Dallas Market Center: "We're pairing Dallas Market Center brands with verified Latin American production partners for curated, private meetings during the Nearshoring Matchmaking Event."
