About the event
The NH Craft Brew Educational Day is a one-day gathering for New Hampshire's independent craft brewing industry, run by the New Hampshire Brewers Association. In the organiser's words, the day is "about rediscovering the passion, creativity, and camaraderie that brought us all to this incredible industry in the first place" - a practical education and networking event for brewery staff at every level, from brewing and quality control to sales, hospitality and marketing.
Format
Rather than scattered breakout sessions, the programme brings everyone together in one large space for five in-depth seminars covering sensory evaluation, industry data and brewing technique. The 2025 programme, kept on the current page, included tasting beer like a BJCP judge, off-flavour and positive flavour identification, industry data trends, pressurised lager fermentation, and a market outlook on where craft beer stands today.
Alongside the seminars, an exhibitor hall runs through the beer hall, bringing together selected vendors, suppliers and industry experts so attendees can sample ingredients, learn about available services and talk to the people behind the products. Exhibitor and sponsorship space is limited and allocated on a first-come basis.
Tickets
- NHBA members: $75
- Industry members: $100
- Non-members: $125
Tickets include all five seminars, exhibit hall access, breakfast, lunch and a closing happy hour. The day is intended as a 21+ event; guests aged 18+ can be accommodated with valid ID and a designated driver wristband arranged in advance.
History and former name
The event grew out of the New Hampshire Craft Brew Conference & Tradeshow (NHCBC), the association's annual conference and supplier trade show held for several years at the Executive Court Banquet Facility in Manchester, New Hampshire. The fourth annual edition took place on 23 January 2023. The fifth annual edition, dated 28 October 2024, was announced but then postponed - the organiser's own event page stated "has been postponed to 2025. Details will be provided once more information is available."
The series returned for 2025 under the present name and format, NH Craft Brew Educational Day, at Spyglass Brewing Company in Nashua - a smaller, single-hall format built around seminars plus an exhibitor hall rather than a full trade show floor. It keeps the association's established late-October slot (the last Monday of the month) and remains the association's main industry education and supplier event of the year.
Notes
The official event calendar lists the 2026 edition as 26 October 2026, 08:30-17:30 at Spyglass Brewing Company; a residual line of body copy on the same page still carries the 2025 date, while the structured event dates and the venue listing both point to 2026.
