New York Wind Band & Orchestra Festival

The New York Wind Band & Orchestra Festival is a music performance festival for high school, college and community bands and orchestras, held at the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York City. Admission is based on audition and is limited to a maximum of four adjudicated ensembles and one university/community showcase ensemble. Each adjudicated group receives a Gold, Silver, or Bronze award based on performance level. The festival is presented by World Projects, with Festival Artistic Director William V. Johnson. Duration is 5 days.
