NORTEC is the trade fair for production technology (Fachmesse für Produktion) in Northern Germany, organised by Landesmesse Stuttgart GmbH & Co. KG together with the VDW. It presents the full spectrum of production technology compactly in one place — from metalworking to electronics manufacturing — and has been the hotspot for manufacturing in Northern Germany for over 30 years. The show brings together the production industry from northern Germany, the rest of Germany and neighbouring European countries, attracting decision-makers, specialists and innovative companies. Highlights include live electronics production lines, expert forums, robotics & AI tech dialogs, a solutions dock and a start-up area. The next edition runs 8–10 February 2028 at Hamburg Messe (Trade Fair Center Hamburg), Germany, and is aimed at professional trade visitors. In 2026 the fair celebrated its 20th edition.
