Optatec is the international trade fair for optical technologies, components and systems, held at Messe Frankfurt in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

With its specific range of products for the development and production as well as industrial application of optical components, optomechanics, optoelectronics, fibre optics, optical fibres, laser components and manufacturing systems, Optatec has firmly established itself in the industry and offers a platform for suppliers and users to meet at the highest level.

Promoted by P. E. Schall, the fair takes place on a biennial cycle. The next (18th) edition will be held from 9 to 11 May 2028 at Messe Frankfurt.
