OV Congres 2026

OV Congres 2026 takes place on 7 October 2026 at Vervoerregio Amsterdam (Termini 179, 1025 XM Amsterdam), one minute’s walk from metro station Noord.

The official site (ov-expo.nl) now presents the next edition as OV Congres, organised with Vervoerregio Amsterdam. It is described as the meeting place for people building the future of public transport: plenary talks and debates, parallel sessions with case studies, a programme with VRA, and networking with more than 150 peers.

Theme 2026

The thread is “Jouw reis …” (Your journey …), with travellers’ needs at the centre. Inclusion and diversity are a starting point. Topics include a socially safe environment, travel without borders, zero-emission transport, a greener journey, and an affordable future.

Audience

The congress is aimed at public-transport professionals at provinces, municipalities, Rijkswaterstaat and semi-public bodies; operators and transport authorities; consultancies; suppliers; knowledge institutes and universities of applied sciences; and civil-society organisations.
