Paint & Coating Expo is Japan’s largest specialised exhibition for paint and coating technology, held inside Highly-functional Material Week. It gathers the latest paint and coating technologies for automotive, electronics, building and related fields, including surface treatments, coating agents, paint manufacturing equipment and more.

Admission

Advance visitor registration is required. Registration is free until 4 September 2026; from 5 September an admission fee of JPY 5,500 (tax included) applies.

Concurrent programme

The show is one of the specialised fairs inside Highly-functional Material Week, alongside functional films, plastics, metals, ceramics, adhesives, sustainable materials and concurrent shows including Photonix, FINETECH JAPAN and Recycle Tech Japan. Supporting associations include The Society of Polymer Science, Japan and The Japan Paint Manufacturers Association (preliminary).
