The PAN Coin Show is organized by the Pennsylvania Association of Numismatists (PAN), a nonprofit educational state organization founded in 1978, consisting of individuals and coin clubs throughout Pennsylvania, the United States, and the world. The 2026 PAN October Coin Show takes place October 22-24, 2026 at the Monroeville Convention Center, Monroeville, PA 15146. PAN's coin shows and conventions are held twice a year, every spring in early May and every fall in late October, bridging collectors and dealers from the East Coast to the Midwest. The association is dedicated to promoting the hobby of coin collecting and numismatic education through coin shows, lectures, seminars, a published journal, and an electronic newsletter, with a focus on learning the art, history, and world cultures through coinage, medals, and paper money. A highlight of the October show is PAN's Living American History Program, where reenactors portraying Abraham Lincoln (Dennis Boggs) and George Washington (Curt Radabaugh) talk about their roles in American history and their impact on the nation's coinage and currency, welcoming young people, homeschoolers, Colonial and Civil War re-enactors, and history enthusiasts to greet, chat, and take photos. PAN also runs related programs including educational exhibits, a lecture series, auctions, and a Kid Zone.
