The half-day programme covered how Philadelphia construction firms are coping with rising construction costs, labour shortages and supply-chain delays, which sub-markets are seeing the most new construction, how recession talk affects developer decision-making, and office-to-residential reconversion. Headline panel: "The Impact ESG Has on C&D Decision Making" — Sean O'Neill (Partner, Saul Ewing), Shelah Wallace (Senior Director, Originations, Nuveen Green Capital), Greg Jasiota (Vice President, DAVIS), Ernest Hanna (Senior Principal, GZA GeoEnvironmental), moderated by Maryrose Myrtetus (Executive Director, Philadelphia Green Capital Corp). Bisnow cited an estimated USD 13 billion of Philadelphia development projects proposed or under way.

Series status — next edition not announced

The Bisnow Philadelphia construction/development series continued the following year under a new name: "Philadelphia Construction and Development Summit", 12 March 2024, The Bellevue Hotel (Hyatt at The Bellevue), 200 S Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19102. Bisnow's Philadelphia event calendar (checked 23 September 2026) lists Retail (8 Oct 2026), State of the Market (14 Oct 2026), Healthcare (27 Oct 2026), Industrial (4 Nov 2026), Life Sciences (18 Nov 2026) and Senior Housing (2 Dec 2026) — no construction/development edition has been scheduled since 2024 and no next-edition date has been published. Bisnow remains an active organiser and still runs Construction & Development events in other markets (Atlanta, Charlotte, New York, Houston, Orlando, Detroit and others), so this is a "next edition not yet announced" situation rather than a cancelled event.
