The Poteet Strawberry Festival, one of the most beloved agricultural celebrations in Texas, is held annually in Poteet, Texas - the Strawberry Capital of Texas. The festival began in 1948 and has grown into a multi-day event featuring live music, carnival rides, rodeo performances, parades, pageants, food vendors and agricultural showcases. The most recent edition has concluded, and organizers are preparing for the milestone 80th Annual Festival, with dates and details to be announced soon. The festival grounds are located at 9199 N State Hwy 16, Poteet, TX 78065.
