Event status
The Progressive Insurance Tampa Boat Show, previously produced by the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) and Informa Markets, is no longer a standalone event.
In August 2021, NMMA and Informa announced that the 2021 Tampa Boat Show (scheduled 10–12 September 2021) would not take place and would instead merge into the 2022 St. Petersburg Power & Sailboat Show (20–23 January 2022) at the Mahaffey Theater Yacht Basin. The stated goal was to create one premier Gulf Coast boat show rather than two competing regional events.
The official domain tampaboatshow.com remains a Safenames parking page with no event site. TicketLeap for the brand lists no upcoming events.
Last standalone edition
The last edition that actually ran was the 2019 Progressive Insurance Tampa Boat Show, postponed from 6–8 September to 25–27 October 2019 at the Tampa Convention Center because of Hurricane Dorian.
Do not treat third-party listings for a later “Tampa Boat Show” as a revival of this NMMA consumer show; IBEX in Tampa is a separate marine trade event.
