Refining and Equipment Standards Meeting

The 2026 Fall Refining and Equipment (CRE) Standards Meeting, presented by the American Petroleum Institute (API), is an in-person meeting open to anyone who wishes to participate. It runs Monday, November 9 through Friday, November 13, 2026, at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans (601 Loyola Ave, New Orleans, LA 70113). The Committee on Refinery Equipment (CRE) is responsible for over 220 downstream refining and equipment standards, including many that form the basis of the API Inspection Program. Attendees gain access to technical committee meetings on API downstream standards and best practices, the latest API-sponsored research and development, networking with colleagues, exhibitor showcases, and Professional Development Hours (PDH) to maintain professional certifications.
