RetroGameCon (RGC), organised by Empire Game Expo, LLC, is Upstate New York’s video game expo at The Oncenter in downtown Syracuse. The official FAQ and event page list the next Fall edition as Friday 2 October, Saturday 3 October, and Sunday 4 October 2026.

The three-day convention includes vendors, panels, live music and stage events, free play, tabletop gaming, tournaments/esports, special guests, and cosplay. Official after-party (18+) is Saturday 20:00–23:30 in the Oncenter Atrium and Main Stage Ballroom (separate ticket or VIP).

Tickets: pre-sale online via the official BUY TICKETS page, plus door sales if not sold out. Children 10 and under are free (one per paid adult). Children 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Kids/pets: venue does not allow pets except service animals. Organised since 2013; a separate Spring Edition is held in May.
