RFA Conference

The Refrigerated Foods Association (RFA) 46th Annual Conference & Expo (RFA XLVI: Your Playbook for Success) will be held 14–17 February 2027 at Rancho Bernardo Inn in San Diego, California. All conference sessions and events take place at the host hotel.

The program includes general sessions on leadership, food safety and refrigerated-foods market trends; a reimagined Expo of ingredients, packaging, equipment and services; One-on-One CEO Sessions; a golf tournament; and a closing dinner with awards. Keynote speaker Joe Theismann (Managing to Win!) appears on Monday, 15 February; the Expo Reception is Monday 15:00–18:00. Tuesday, 16 February includes the Martin Mitchell Technical Food Safety Luncheon, golf shotgun start at 12:00, additional general sessions, a Rise Against Hunger meal-packing service project, and the closing banquet. Wednesday, 17 February has an optional Breakfast with the Board.

Registration is open via the official RFA conference page (members may register online; non-members use the 2027 PDF registration form). Early-registration deadline and cancellation cutoff: 8 January 2027. The group hotel rate at Rancho Bernardo Inn is $329/night with waived resort fee after conference registration. San Diego International Airport (SAN) is about 35 minutes from the resort.
