RJO Buying Show - Summer 2028

The RJO Buying Show is the semiannual trade event organised by Retail Jewelers Organization (RJO, Inc.) for its members - independent retail jewellers - together with preferred vendors and industry leaders. The summer 2028 edition runs 21-24 July 2028 at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center Hotel in Schaumburg, Illinois, United States.

What the show offers

• A two-and-a-half-day programme combining strategic buying opportunities, professional development, networking and relaxation.
• A buying floor featuring exclusive show specials, significant savings and first access to new product introductions from RJO's preferred vendor partners.
• Evening receptions that create a relaxed setting for building relationships with fellow members, preferred vendors and industry leaders.

Attendance and cost

There is no registration fee to attend; the show is open to RJO members who are in good standing. Stores that meet the minimum annual purchases of 75,000 USD may have up to three consecutive hotel room nights covered by RJO.

Frequency and other editions

RJO Buying Shows are held twice each year, one winter and one summer edition. The official schedule also lists Grapevine, Texas (19-22 February 2027, Gaylord Texan), Kansas City, Missouri (23-26 July 2027, Loews Kansas City Hotel / Kansas City Convention Center) and Boston, Massachusetts (25-28 February 2028, Westin Boston Seaport District and the MCEC).
