The SA Scale Model Expo is South Australia's premier scale modelling competition and exhibition, organized by the South Australian Plastic Modellers Association (SAPMA). The 2026 edition features aircraft, armour, ships, automotive, sci-fi, dioramas and more, with themes 'As Seen on the Screen' and 'Australiana'.

About the Expo
The SA Scale Model Expo is organized by the South Australian Plastic Modellers Association (SAPMA) and is the state's premier scale modelling competition and public exhibition.
2026 Edition
- Dates: Saturday 10 – Sunday 11 October 2026
- Hours: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM (both days)
- Venue: John Dunning Centre, Prince Alfred College, Dequetteville Tce, Kent Town, Adelaide SA
- Entry: Via The Parade West (Pirie St entrance), car parking on the left

Admission
- Entrants: FREE (with 2+ entered models)
- Adults: $10 (2-day pass $15)
- Concession/Students: $5 (2-day pass $7)
- Family (2 adults, 2 children): $15
- Children 12 and under: FREE (with adult)
Junior Categories
Under 14 and Under 17 categories with prizes. FREE entry for up to 3 models. All subjects welcome — Warhammer, Mechs, Gundam, Spaceships, Aircraft, Tanks, Cars.
Entry Deadline
Entries close midnight Thursday October 8, 2026. Online entry only — no walk-up entries.
