Lakeview Taco Fest – Special Events Management

Join Chicago's beloved street-food celebration in the heart of the Southport Corridor: the 13th Annual Lakeview Taco Fest returns August 21-23, 2026. Over 10 of Chicago's finest eateries compete to craft the city's most mouthwatering tacos (2026 Critics Choice winners: Delicias Tacos and Tuco & Blondie). Highlights: beer & taco pairings with seasonal brews, two music stages with nonstop live entertainment, family-friendly activities, and thrilling Lucha Libre (Mexican wrestling) in the streets each evening at Southport & Cornelia (6pm Friday; 4pm Saturday & Sunday). Cast your People's Choice text-to-vote for Best Taco, announced at the ring at 4:45pm. A $10 suggested donation supports Friends of Lakeview, and a $50 VIP Experience offers complimentary drinks, private bar, seating, shade and private bathroom. Held outdoors along Southport Avenue in Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood.
