Emergency Services Career Expo WEST 2026

The Emergency Services Career Expo (formerly the Security Police Fire Career Expo) is an annual networking, education and job fair designed to help students, industry newcomers and professionals meet companies and agencies relevant to their chosen field and gain advice from established industry mentors.

Event details

The 2026 WEST edition will be held on 24 October 2026 at BMO Centre at Stampede Park (Palomino A-H), 1912 Flores LaDue Parade S.E, Calgary, AB, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

About the expo

Founded as the Security Career Expo in 2014, the event has grown over the years to include first responders and emergency services and was rebranded Security, Police and Fire Career Expo in 2019. Your all-day expo pass includes access to speakers, networking with exhibitors (potential employers), participation in mock interview exercises, and conversations with industry mentors.

Schedule

• 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM - Exhibitor floor open (booths ready to discuss open opportunities, how to get hired, and what it takes to be in police, fire or security industries)
• 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM - Mock interview practice with HR and department chiefs (sign up on site)
• 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM - Mock interview practice with HR and department chiefs (sign up on site)
