About the exhibition

SIMPPAR dates back to 1991, when the SFP organised the first “Journées des Matières Premières” in Paris. Since 2011 the exhibition has been held at Espace Champerret. After a 2024 edition in Grasse, SIMPPAR is now annual, alternating between Paris and Grasse.

It is the oldest and largest European exhibition dedicated to raw materials for perfumery. Exhibitors include producers of essential oils and natural extracts, manufacturers of synthetic aroma ingredients, fragrance houses, and suppliers of equipment, bottles, software and other solutions. Attendance is trade-only (perfumers, buyers, R&D, technicians); it is not open to the general public.

Every exhibitor is provided with the same stand size, so materials and expertise are foregrounded rather than booth scale.
