Sogetsu School of Illinois Ikebana Exhibition
The Sogetsu School of Illinois Ikebana Exhibition is an annual amateur showcase of Japanese floral art (ikebana) presented by the Sogetsu School of Illinois study group. The 2026 edition took place on Saturday & Sunday, April 11–12, 2026, in Burnstein Hall at the Chicago Botanic Garden (1000 Lake-Cook Road, Glencoe, Illinois). The exhibition featured roughly 50 ikebana arrangements created by group members, celebrating a traditional Japanese art form with more than 600 years of history. As of late 2026, dates for the next (2027) edition had not yet been announced; the event typically returns each spring.
