SPE Advances in Integrated Reservoir Modelling and Field Development Conference and Exhibition

This biennial SPE technical conference and exhibition has been organised by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) since 2007 (early editions jointly with EAGE) and is held in Abu Dhabi, UAE. It was formerly titled the SPE Reservoir Characterisation and Simulation Conference and Exhibition (OnePetro proceedings codes 07RCSC to 22RCSC); for the 2025 edition the conference was renamed to reflect its broadened scope across reservoir characterisation, modelling, simulation and integrated field development.

The 2025 edition (25RCSC) took place 2-4 June 2025 at the Abu Dhabi Energy Center in Abu Dhabi, UAE, under the theme "Innovative Solutions: Leveraging AI, Sustainability, and Advanced Modelling Technologies". Sessions covered AI and machine learning for reservoir characterisation and modelling, CCUS and decarbonisation applications, history matching and uncertainty analysis, EOR simulation, formation evaluation and geomechanics, and field development case studies, with strong participation from ADNOC and international operators. Peer-reviewed proceedings (ISBN 978-1-959025-80-1) are published on OnePetro. The next edition has not yet been announced.
