INDIA STEEL 2025 — 6th International Exhibition & Conference on the Steel Industry

INDIA STEEL is a joint initiative of the Ministry of Steel, Government of India and FICCI (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry). The 6th edition was held from 24 to 26 April 2025 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre (NESCO), Goregaon (East), Mumbai, in Hall No. 4, with conference sessions in Grande A, B & C.

Scope

Exhibits cover the full steel value chain: iron and steel making equipment, rolling and processing lines, refractories and raw materials, furnace and heat-treatment technology, automation and digitalisation, material handling, testing and quality control, steel products and applications, and green-steel / decarbonisation solutions.

Programme

Alongside the exhibition, the conference addresses steel demand and global markets, raw-material security, the technology landscape, financing capacity augmentation, and trade and taxation issues such as CBAM and export promotion. The programme includes roundtables and technical sessions, country roundtables, state sessions, a closed-door CEOs Round Table (by invitation), industry awards, hosted global buyer-seller meets and plant tours.

Themes for 2025

Augmenting domestic consumption and new steel applications; green steel and circularity (CCUS, by-product utilisation, decarbonisation); raw-material security (iron ore beneficiation, coking coal, scrap recycling); technology landscape and international collaboration; financing capacity augmentation; trade and taxation.
