The Big Udo Jürgens Show (German: Die große Udo Jürgens Show) is a live tribute concert to the legendary Austrian singer and composer Udo Jürgens (1934–2014), performed by Michael Konicek together with a live band and three additional vocalists. The show was staged at Messe Ried in Ried im Innkreis, Austria, with the performance beginning at 18:00.
Udo Jürgens was one of the most popular German-speaking entertainers and best-selling male solo artists, with a 60-year career that produced more than 1,000 songs, over 50 albums and 105 million records sold. Michael Konicek pays musical homage to the incomparable and charismatic artist, performing the great hits — such as "17 Jahr, blondes Haar", "Aber bitte mit Sahne" and "Mit 66 Jahren" — alongside lesser-known songs, framed by anecdotes and stories from Udo Jürgens' life.
This is a concert / live music event (Gastveranstalter) and not a trade fair or exhibition.
