The Hospitality Show: Michigan is a one-day, regional hospitality-industry event staged by the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA) — the U.S. national association representing the lodging industry — as part of its "The Hospitality Show" regional event series. The series is free and open to all hoteliers and AHLA Allied (supplier) members.

Audience and scope

Hotel owners, operators and general managers from across Michigan, together with AHLA Allied (supplier) members serving the lodging sector — technology, labour and HR services, food and beverage, amenities and operations vendors. The programme combines federal and state policy/advocacy updates (labour, tax, travel and tourism, safety) with vendor-facing networking.

Status

The 19 November 2024 edition has passed. No next Michigan edition has been announced — as of 1 October 2026 the AHLA event calendar lists no upcoming Michigan regional date and a keyword search for "Michigan" returns no upcoming events. AHLA itself remains highly active, with The Hospitality Show national conference on 2–4 November 2026 in Miami, Florida (plus the GM Summit at The Hospitality Show on 2 November 2026), the Night of a Thousand Stars Gala 2027 on 24 January 2027 in Los Angeles, and the 38th Annual Hunter Conference on 22–24 March 2027 in Atlanta. The last confirmed Michigan edition is therefore retained here without inventing future dates.
