The Lab of the Future Congress Europe returns to Amsterdam on 22–23 September 2026 at the Beurs van Berlage.

The series examines advances shaping life-science research, development and manufacturing, and how they can be used to deliver therapeutics at pace and scale. The format mixes curated content, lightning talks and discussion sessions, with a focus on thought leadership and audience participation.

Themes

• AI to Innovate — AI to optimize R&D workflows, and AI-driven drug discovery and development
• The Collaborative Ecosystem — federated science beyond organizational boundaries, and the people/culture side of the lab of the future
• Digital First R&D — digital transformation of laboratories and decision-ready data
• The Orchestrated Lab — from isolated automation to connected, end-to-end laboratories
• Digital CMC — data foundations, AI and automation in regulated environments, advanced modalities, and smart manufacturing

Official agenda (CEST): Day 1 (22 September) opens at 08:30 with keynotes and closes with a networking drinks reception at 17:30. Day 2 (23 September) opens at 08:45; Close of Congress is at 16:55.
