The National Dog Show

The National Dog Show Presented by Purina, hosted by the Kennel Club of Philadelphia, takes place November 14-15, 2026 at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center, 100 Station Avenue, Oaks, Pennsylvania 19456, USA. Hours: Saturday 14 November 8:00am-6:00pm (Best in Show judging may begin after 6:00pm) and Sunday 15 November 8:00am-5:00pm.

It is the only "single-venue benched show" in America: the roughly 2,000 competing dogs remain at designated benching locations throughout the day, so the public can see the dogs up close, meet handlers and owners and learn about individual breeds - something not possible at conventional shows where dogs leave after judging.

Visitors watch breed, group and Best in Show judging across all AKC groups, plus family attractions, vendor stands and breed-education areas. It is one of America's oldest and most prestigious dog shows; the 2024 Best in Show went to Vito the Pug.

Tickets are on sale at family-friendly prices held flat: adults $20, children aged 4-11 $10, age 3 and under free. Television coverage of the show traditionally airs on NBC on Thanksgiving Day from noon to 2:00pm.
