The Tucson Gem, Mineral & Fossil Showcase is Visit Tucson's citywide gem, mineral, jewelry, and fossil marketplace. Official copy: the Tucson Gem Shows comprise the largest event of its kind in the world, with a 70+ year history. This listing is the named winter Showcase only. It is not the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show® (TGMS) at the Tucson Convention Center, and it is not the separately named Labor Day, October Dealer, or Thanksgiving satellite shows.

Official next edition used here (https://www.visittucson.org/tucson-gem-mineral-fossil-showcase/shows/): the 2027 showcase is scheduled for January 27 – February 14, 2027. Show listings were marked coming soon; Visit Tucson asks visitors to check back as listings finalize. The same winter span is listed under Winter Gem Shows on the FAQ and Show & Dealer Info pages: January 27–February 14, 2027; also January 26–February 13, 2028 and January 24–February 11, 2029. CMS dates 2026-10-15 to 2026-10-18 matched the separately named October Dealer Showcase (October 15-18, 2026) and were not applied to this row.

Note on conflicting copy: Show & Dealer Info also says "The next showcase takes place January 28–February 15" with no year. That line does not match the labeled 2027 showcase dates and was not used.

Satellite dates listed on the same hub, not used for this row: Labor Day Shows September 3-6, 2026; October Dealer Showcase October 15-18, 2026; Fine Mineral Gallery Thanksgiving Showcase November 13-15, 2026, 10am to 6pm; Fine Mineral Gallery Spring Showcase TBD.

Venue: official copy describes shows across Tucson's metro at more than 40 locations. No single hall is named for the Showcase as a whole. City-level venue is Tucson, Arizona, United States. Individual dealer shows (JOGS, AGTA, GJX, Pueblo, TGMS, and others) have their own sites and are not collapsed into this row.

Hours (FAQ / Show & Dealer Info): shows open between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. and close between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.; refer to show listings for exact times (Fall/Winter). A single start/end time is not set.

Access (Shows page): more than 80% of shows are open to the public; a few offer advance registration; a couple charge admission. Wholesale shows require credentials such as a business license. There is no single Showcase registration URL; each show sells its own booth space. Visitor Information Services: 520-624-1817 ext.155, [email protected]. Hotels under 10 room nights: 1-800-638-8350.

Official FAQ: the record number of shows was 52 in 2020 and matched in 2025. Nearly 65,000 visitors visit the winter shows (FAQ attendance question); the 2025 economic impact study cited on the same pages reports buyers increased from 65,000 to 113,342. Dealers specialize in loose stones, jewelry, African art, beads, polished stones, minerals, fossils, and gifts.

Frequency: annual winter Showcase (Shows page: each year, Tucson welcomes an international community; winter dates listed through 2029). Numbered edition is not stated for the citywide Showcase and is not set (do not use TGMS 72nd edition).
