The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) Cybersecurity Day is an industry exposition produced by the Federal Business Council (FBC) and hosted on-site at the DOL headquarters — the Frances Perkins Building in Washington, D.C. Organized by the DOL Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) as part of the agency's annual Cybersecurity Awareness Month programming, the event gives leading technology and security vendors a rare, face-to-face opportunity to demonstrate products and services directly to DOL employees and contractors.
The expo focuses on strengthening DOL's IT infrastructure and security posture: protecting sensitive information, reducing breach risk, and advancing cloud adoption, identity management, and Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) initiatives. Past editions have drawn an estimated 100–500 attendees.
The DOL Cybersecurity Day is typically held on a quadrennial cadence. The most recent edition took place on October 10, 2024 at the Frances Perkins Building (200 Constitution Ave. NW, Washington, DC 20210). Future dates are announced by the organizer closer to the next cycle and were not yet published at the time of verification.
