WantedDesign Brooklyn — discontinued
WantedDesign Brooklyn was a public design festival held at Industry City in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, as part of NYCxDESIGN. Founders Claire Pijoulat and Odile Hainaut ran editions from 2014 to 2019. The last Brooklyn edition took place 16–20 May 2019.
The organization no longer publishes a next Brooklyn exhibition. Official site wanteddesignnyc.com now describes WantedDesign as a year-round hub (membership programming, residencies, awards, destination travel). Calendar listings are membership talks and socials (e.g. 25 September 2026 curatorial session), not a trade fair at Industry City.
The former Manhattan fair was acquired by Emerald / ICFF and now exists as the Wanted feature inside ICFF at Javits Center — a different event from this Brooklyn record.
