About WATERCHEM 2027

The 2027 Shanghai International Water Treatment Chemicals Exhibition (WATERCHEM) will be held 27–29 April 2027 at the Shanghai Convention & Exhibition Center of International Sourcing (上海跨国采购会展中心). It runs concurrently with the International Surfactant Exhibition.

The organiser, Shanghai Hongyan Exhibition Service Co., Ltd. (上海鸿炎展览服务有限公司), expects more than 300 exhibitors, about 25,000 m² of exhibition space, and over 36,000 professional visitors from 20+ countries and regions.

The show is positioned as a one-stop sourcing platform for water treatment chemicals and related materials, covering industry trends, marketing, and technical innovation. Target visitors include petrochemical, coatings, water utilities, pulp and paper, textile dyeing, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, pesticide, environmental protection, daily chemicals, power, mining, and metallurgy companies, plus research institutes and universities.

Product scope

• Flocculants, sludge dewatering agents and other water-soluble polymers (e.g. polyacrylamide, PAC, aluminium sulphate)
• Scale and corrosion inhibitors (organic phosphonates, polycarboxylates, phosphorus-free agents)
• Biocides and algaecides (organic bromine, isothiazolinones, chlorine-based oxidants, peroxides)
• Boiler, cooling, RO membrane and process treatment chemicals; defoamers, dispersants, cleaners, chelating agents
• Activated carbon, ion-exchange resins, filter media, packing, and dosing / processing / testing equipment
