2027 Winter D.C. Legislative Visit
The MREA Winter D.C. Legislative Visit is an annual advocacy trip by the Midwest Renewable Energy Association, bringing members to Washington D.C. to meet legislators on renewable energy and electric cooperative policy. The 2027 edition includes a legislative briefing at the Hilton Washington DC Capitol Hill Hotel.

The Winter D.C. Legislative Visit is an annual advocacy event hosted by the Midwest Renewable Energy Association (MREA). MREA members travel to Washington, D.C. to meet with federal legislators and their staff to discuss policy priorities for renewable energy and electric cooperatives.
The 2027 edition runs January 25–27, 2027. Members are asked to arrive at the Hilton Washington DC Capitol Hill Hotel on Monday for a 5:30 pm legislative briefing and may depart anytime on Wednesday. Meetings with congressional offices are scheduled Tuesday, with any remaining Wednesday-morning meetings held with the smaller group still available to walk between individual offices.
