Wooden Boat Festival

Annual open house and small boat rendezvous hosted by the Sapperton Landing Traditional Boat Centre (formerly the Vancouver Wooden Boat Society) in New Westminster, British Columbia. Owners of small wooden boats are invited to display their vessels; the rendezvous is part of the larger RiverFest event in New Westminster. Families and children can build their own small wooden boat and tour the facility to view traditional wooden boats on display and under construction. Participation is free, and the event promotes the centre and its community programs.
