55th Annual Legislative Conference (ALC)

The 55th Annual Legislative Conference (ALC), organized by the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, Inc. (CBCF), will take place September 16-20, 2026 in Washington, D.C. Described as "the nation's leading public policy convening focused on issues impacting Black Americans and the global Black community," the ALC convenes lawmakers, policy experts, community leaders, and the public for a multi-day program of policy discussion and civic engagement.

Program Highlights

• Engaging Panels & Workshops — sessions led by experts and policymakers on topics including healthcare, education, economic empowerment, and social justice.
• Networking Opportunities — structured networking with leaders across government, business, and the nonprofit sector.
• Exhibits & Vendors — an exhibit hall with vendors, organizations, and partners.
• Signature Events — cultural programming, award ceremonies, and performances, including the Phoenix Awards.
