The Artisan Cheese Fair is organised by Melton Festivals and described as the UK's largest dedicated cheese fair. The official page dates the 2026 edition to Saturday–Sunday 23–24 May (late Spring Bank Holiday weekend), 10am–4pm, last entry 15:30, at the Livestock Market, Melton Mowbray, LE13 1JY.
Around 40–50 artisan cheesemakers from the UK and Ireland typically exhibit, alongside wine, spirits, pies, cider, cakes, beer and hot street food. The programme includes workshops, tutored tastings, food theatre and entertainment. Halls are undercover.
Advance tickets were listed at £7; children 16 and under free. The site is described as wheelchair friendly with disabled parking at Gate 4, Scalford Road. Dogs are not allowed except service dogs.
