Canberra CareersXpo

The Canberra CareersXpo is the premier careers event in the Australian Capital Territory region, held in August each year at Exhibition Park in Canberra (EPIC). The 2026 edition runs Wednesday 5 and Thursday 6 August 2026, 9:00 am - 2:30 pm daily, at Exhibition Park in Canberra, corner of Flemington Road and Northbourne Avenue, Mitchell ACT.

Multiple exhibitions run in one space: CareersXpo, real skills for real careers, Indigenous Employment, The STEM Cell, Sustainability & Environment, and Innovation & Technology. The event is open to everyone - school students, parents, adults already in the workforce, and anyone considering a new career path - with a focus on secondary students across the ACT and surrounding NSW schools network.

More than 120 local and national exhibitors take part, including universities, federal and state government institutions, employer organisations, private colleges, apprenticeship centres and businesses. Exhibits are staged across the Budawang Pavilion (real skills for real careers) and the Coorong Pavilion (STEM Cell, Indigenous Employment Exhibition, Qualified Career Practitioners), with an Employment Opportunity Board listing current and upcoming apprenticeships and traineeship opportunities.

The 2026 focus theme is Sustainability and Environment. The event is presented in association with the Rotary Club of Aurora Gungahlin and the ACT Government. No 2027 dates have been announced yet.
