What it is

A long-running county agricultural fair (the fair's history is traced back to 1854; the present Cass County Fair was re-formed by the City of Pleasant Hill in 1994) and the largest "new fair" in Missouri. Held every summer at the Cass County Fairgrounds on Highway 58 west of Pleasant Hill, it combines youth 4-H/FFA livestock competition with a full entertainment programme.

• The fair is largely volunteer-run and funded by sponsors; each season a fresh sponsorship packet is published (the site currently shows "2026 Sponsorship Opportunities").
• Fairgrounds vendor space for 2026 is listed as FULL on the official vendor page.
