First Fridays — Downtown Florence, Alabama
Downtown Florence Alliance presents First Fridays, a free outdoor community festival on Court Street in downtown Florence, Alabama. The 2026 season runs May through November.
Next 2026 date
Friday, 4 September 2026, 5:30–8:30 p.m. (May and September–November hours). June, July and August dates run 5:30–9:00 p.m.
Remaining 2026 dates after September: 2 October and 6 November 2026.
Court Street and surrounding access roads close at 4:30 p.m. on event days. Admission is free. Parking is available away from Court Street and in the public garage on Pine & Tombigbee streets. The event continues rain or shine and is canceled only for severe weather or lightning.
The 2026 presenting sponsor is Bank Independent. Vendor applications are accepted through the Downtown Florence Alliance site.
