About Green Med Expo & Symposium

Green Med Expo & Symposium is the annual event that brings together public and private stakeholders, businesses, institutions and local communities to promote a circular, energy, water and urban-sustainable economy and to guide the ecological transition in Southern Italy. It unites institutions, companies, citizens and professionals to tackle the challenges of climate change together.

Through conferences, workshops, exhibitions and pilot projects, the event creates a fertile environment for innovation, networking and training - all aimed at turning environmental awareness into concrete action.

Thematic areas

• Urban Mines - transforming waste into resources: circular economy and waste management.
• Energy - the push towards renewable energies, energy efficiency and emission reduction.
• Water - protection of the water cycle, resilience against drought and floods, quality of and access to drinking water.
• Biocity - regenerated cities and territories: sustainable mobility, green infrastructure, low-impact buildings and responsible urban planning.

Next edition
