About the HIMSS D-A-CH Delegation

The HIMSS D-A-CH Delegation is the annual delegation and community programme organised by HIMSS (Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society) for health and health-IT professionals from the German-speaking region - Germany, Austria and Switzerland (D-A-CH). It is not a stand-alone trade fair: it runs alongside the HIMSS Global Health Conference & Exhibition, and delegates combine a curated DACH / European programme of community sessions, workshops and networking with full access to the main conference and exhibition.

Healthcare leaders from Germany, Austria and Switzerland have gathered at the HIMSS Global Conference for more than ten years, and the D-A-CH Community has grown into one of HIMSS's largest international communities. Participation is sold as a delegation package that can be added to a HIMSS Global registration (in 2025: USD 550 for healthcare providers, USD 1,200 for vendors).

Series history

• HIMSS21 (Las Vegas, 9-13 August 2021) - the D-A-CH Delegation was cancelled because of continued international travel restrictions; delegate packages were transferred to HIMSS22 in Orlando.
• HIMSS24 (Orlando, 11-15 March 2024, Orange County Convention Center) - D-A-CH Delegation held.
• HIMSS25 (Las Vegas, 2-6 March 2025, The Venetian Convention & Expo Center) - D-A-CH Delegation held.

Next edition

The HIMSS Global Health Conference & Exhibition continues (HIMSS26: 9-12 March 2026, Las Vegas) and the D-A-CH Community remains active (community page, webinar series, D-A-CH Community Member Meeting).
