The Holt County Fair is the summer highlight of one of Nebraska's largest counties by area, hosted by the small village of Chambers in north-central Nebraska. Each year in early August the quiet community becomes the busy heart of the county for a week of 4-H and FFA competition, ranch and farm culture celebration.

The 2026 Holt County Fair ran August 3–8, 2026 at the Holt County Fairgrounds, located about one mile north of Main Street in Chambers, Nebraska (west past the cemetery). The program featured 4-H and FFA livestock and project shows, the Mid-States Rodeo, a demolition derby and ranch rodeo, a carnival midway, pedal tractor pull, beef-rib cook-off, Friday and Saturday bands, a beer garden, mutton bustin' and a children's game tent.

With nearly 400 active 4-H members, the fair is a serious agricultural showcase and an all-out community celebration. The Holt County Fair is organized by the Holt County Fair Board and supported by Nebraska Extension (Holt-Boyd Counties). Dates for the next edition are typically announced in the new year; the fair generally takes place over several days in early August.
