The 169th Indiana State Fair runs August 7-23, 2026 (closed Mondays) at the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center in Indianapolis, under the 2026 theme 'Always a Hit!' presented by the Indianapolis Indians. The annual fair combines 4-H and open livestock shows, agriculture, horticulture and Indiana Arts competitions, the Indiana Brewers' Cup and Wine & Spirits judging, Hoosier Lottery Free Stage and Grandstand concerts, midway rides, Pioneer Village and Taste of the Fair food stands.

  • Daily programme sheets are handed out each day at the gates and at the Information Booths presented by Prairie Farms.

4-H project and livestock entries, open livestock shows and judging, agriculture/horticulture entry classes, the Indiana Arts entry book, the Indiana Brewers Cup, the Indiana State Fair Wine & Spirits Competition and the Indiana State Fair Queen Program.

Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center, 1202 E 38th St, Indianapolis, IN 46205-2807.

  • Onsite parking is $10 per vehicle - Fairgrounds Infield, South Lot (38th Street, opens 6 AM) and the Indiana School for the Deaf (42nd Street, opens 8 AM)
  • ADA accessible parking in the southeast and southwest corners of the infield next to the accessible walk tunnels, plus the South Lot and School for the Deaf
  • Rideshare drop-off across from Gate 7 - use 3700 Woodland Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46205
  • Pedal & Park free secured bicycle racks off the Monon Trail north of 38th Street save $1 off admission
  • IndyGo Routes 4 and 39 and the Purple Line stop steps from the main entrance (G1) on 38th Street; fare $2.75 per ride or $6 for an all-day pass
  • Strollers and wagons are welcome; only trained service animals are permitted. Cards and cash are both accepted. Scootaround is the exclusive scooter and wheelchair rental provider, with online reservations available.
