BIOMASS EXPO 2027

BIOMASS EXPO 2027 is the biomass special exhibition within SMART ENERGY WEEK, organized by RX Japan. The next edition runs 24-26 March 2027 at Tokyo Big Sight, Tokyo, Japan. Biomass power is expected to play a major role in achieving carbon neutrality by 2050, and the expo works as a business platform that gathers a wide range of biomass technologies and attracts professionals from around the world.

The show is co-organised by the Japan Woody Bioenergy Association and the Japan Organics Recycling Association. Its exhibit profile covers biomass fuels (solid fuel, wood pellets and chips, RDF/RPF, waste water and sludge fuel, bioethanol and biomass diesel), biomass fuel manufacturing equipment, measuring and analysing equipment, biomass heat utilisation technologies, biomass electric generating facilities, waste treatment facilities and other biomass services.

The visitor profile includes biomass electric generating business, plant engineering, electric power companies, new electric power business, agricultural business, forest engineering organisations, government and municipal organisations, and corporate users of public facilities, plants and buildings.
