The Joint Statistical Meetings (JSM) is the largest gathering of statisticians in North America, drawing more than 5,000 participants. The 2027 edition will be held August 8–12, 2027 in Chicago, Illinois, at McCormick Place. JSM features contributed and invited sessions, poster presentations, short courses, and the profession's premier networking and career-development opportunities across statistics and data science. Future meetings: 2028 Philadelphia, 2029 Seattle, 2030 Milwaukee. The 2026 edition was held August 1–6, 2026 in Boston, Massachusetts.
