Lewis County Fair 2026

The Lewis County Fair is an annual agricultural county fair held at the Lewis County Fairgrounds, 5485 Bostwick Street, Lowville, New York. The 2026 edition ran July 20-25, 2026 (Monday through Saturday). It is organized by the Lewis County Agricultural Society, whose mission is to showcase agriculture and the youth of Lewis County and to educate the public on agricultural topics.

Highlights

• Livestock, poultry and farm product exhibitions, including Open & 4-H/FFA dairy breed classes
• NY SIRE Stakes harness racing (Tuesday, 12:30 PM)
• Downtown fair parade (Tuesday, 6:30 PM)
• Carnival midway with daily wristbands (USD 35 at the fair; early-bird USD 25 single-day or USD 100 week-long online through July 20, 2026)
• Grandstand motor events: Talent Show (Mon), NYS Tractor Pull (Wed), 4x4 Truck Pull (Thu), Out of Field Tractor Pull (Thu morning), Rodeo (Fri) and Demolition Derby (Sat, two shows)
• Contests, vendors and concessions
• Sensory-friendly carnival hours (Wednesday 1-3 PM, no lights or music)

Admission & Hours

Gate admission is free. Events begin at 9:00 AM daily; vendors and concessions open by 10:00 AM. Grandstand events are ticketed separately (USD 10-20, free for children 5 and under). Parking passes: USD 5/day or USD 15/week, sold at the fair office.
