Polestar x Aalto Fashion Talks was a one-off panel discussion co-hosted by Aalto University and Polestar on the theme of sustainable design — "think zero". The event took place on 13 March 2024, 16:00–18:00 (EET), at Polestar Helsinki, Lämmittäjänkatu 6, 00880 Helsinki, Finland.
Part of the Aalto Fashion and Polestar collaboration, the talk explored the demands that sustainability places on designers and companies, the skills needed now and in the future, and what design looks like tomorrow. The panel featured Aalto alumni and industry voices including fashion designer Sofia Ilmonen, automotive and fashion designer Boram Yoo, Kati Ihamäki (VP Sustainability & Public Affairs, Fiskars Group), and Maria Uggla (Head of Color and Material, Polestar), moderated by Annamari Vänskä (Senior University Lecturer of Design Cultures, Aalto University).
This was a single-edition collaboration and is not a recurring trade show.
