Typography Day

Typography Day is India's flagship annual typography conference, organised by the IDC School of Design at IIT Bombay in Mumbai with support from InDeAs, Design in India and Aksharaya. The 17th edition was held on 6-8 March 2025 at the IDC School of Design, IIT Bombay, on the theme 'Typography and Storytelling': a first day of typography and calligraphy workshops followed by a two-day international conference with keynote talks, juried academic presentations, a poster-competition exhibition and a Lifetime Achievement Award. As of September 2026 the official site typoday.in still lists only the 2025 edition; dates for the next edition have not yet been published.
